Where are meetings held?
We hold meetings at our offices, located at 94 Chorley Road in Bolton. Under exceptional circumstances, we will visit clients at their home or offices. We also offer virtual meetings.
Do you have parking?
Yes, at the rear of the building.
Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?
No. We offer an initial, 45-minute meeting at our expense. The purpose of our initial meeting is to establish if we can work well together and form a good rapport. We take time to get to know a little more about you, your family, your goals and your financial experiences and aspirations.
What do I need to bring to an initial meeting?
We will send you an email about everything we will need prior to the initial meeting. It helps make the meeting more productive.
Do I have to sign up to your services at an initial meeting?
No. We encourage you to take time to think about our meeting; you are under no pressure to make any immediate decision. We also need to ensure that we are a good match for you.
Are you independent?
Yes. We are proud to be independent. Not only does this mean that we work directly for our clients, but it also allows us total freedom with the products and providers we use when implementing a financial plan.
What do you charge for a financial plan?
We charge an initial fee based upon the complexity of your situation, then an ongoing fee to look after your finances. You can learn more about our charges on our fees page.
Do you get commission?
On insurance contracts only.
Do you charge VAT?
Generally not, unless it’s a standalone piece of work (which we rarely do).
